Note: This chemical can ship nationwide! AquaPerl® Premium Perlite Filter Media for Swimming Pools What is AquaPerl? Engineered for use in diatomaceous earth (D.E.) filters, and can replace both diatomaceous earth (D.E.) and cellulose in these filters. The advantages are crystal clear. Requires 1/2 the amount per usage compared to traditional D.E. (ex: 2 cups of D.E. per filter now requires only 1 cup of AquaPerl)
-Less dangerous (D.E. is carcinogenic) -Less required for same effect (1/2 compared to D.E. -Cost effective (12 lb. of AquaPerl is equivalent to 24 lb. D.E.) -Environmentally Friendly compared to D.E. -Works with all D.E. filters
AquaPerl® is Easy to Use!
Directions for Use Step 1: Clean the Filter Clean the filter thoroughly per the manufacturer’s recommendations and normal maintenance procedures. Step 2: Determine the Proper Amount of AquaPerl to Use Use in the same manner as D.E. filter media. Step 3: Precoat the Filter Add the appropriate amount of AquaPerl to the pool filter using a mixture of AquaPerl and water. Mix 1⁄2 the required amount of AquaPerl thoroughly in a pail of water. Pour this mixture into the skimmer with the circulation system running. Repeat the process once more using the remaining amount of AquaPerl and water. Advantages of AquaPerl Over D.E. AquaPerl is superior to D.E. in removing dirt and oil contaminants from swimming pools for the following reasons: • AquaPerl’s higher solids and oil holding capacity results in longer filtration cycles. • AquaPerl’s lower density allows for a uniform precoat thickness and deposition on element, resulting in quick and complete backwashing and filter aid regeneration. The physical properties of the products represent typical values obtained in accordance with World Minerals test methods and are subject to manufacturing variations. They are provided here as a general reference only, are subject to change without notice, and should not be relied on for any particular application.
Bottom line • AquaPerl improves filter efficiency • AquaPerl saves time • AquaPerl is all-natural • AquaPerl is easy to handle • AquaPerl, produced at the Harborlite facility in Quincy, Florida, is the only NSF Certified perlite swimming pool filter media
